Healthy Wealthy & Wise

I've read a lot of information on how to be healthy, wealthy and wise. The wealth isn't flowing in and the wise...well that's debatable! So the only one that I can manage somewhat is my health.
There are many "experts" who advise us on how to get ourselves healthy. Whether it's how to eat and exercise or what supplements to take. There was a good article in Good Housekeeping on how to fight pain naturally. It seemed like a good list on overall health also. I will go over a few of the recommended ideas.
1. Change up your diet. It stated inflammation in the body causes chronic pain and certain foods magnify that. They advise a Mediterranean diet or foods that are rich in omega-3 fatty acids.
In our area it is difficult to get true organic fruit, vegetables or meat. There are ways to get them but usually at a high cost or travel. So it depends what it's worth to you.
2. Heal with sleep. Missing a few hours of sleep can make people more sensitive to pain.
This is a major issue with many people. We sell many essential oil roll-on's and blends for sleep. These people tell me they have very good results with the blend they use.
3. Train the body to relax. You can learn how to respond to stress in a calmer way.
This is always my intent but not what actually happens. In the chaos we should learn to take a deep breath and either walk away or just keep quiet.
4. Exercise. Aerobic exercise releases the body's internal painkillers.
This is something most of us know we should be doing. We can come up with all kinds of excuses to not exercise, but we should start somewhere.
This list is pretty obvious and we have read about it before. What I have learned most is one fix doesn't work for everyone. I have tried many different diets, vitamins and oils. Some can loose weight in a day on the no carb diet. A vegetarian diet appeals to some. With trial and error I have finally found a system that works for me.
I would love to hear what works for you.
