Essential Oil

I read many blogs and information on essential oil. Some will only support the brand that they use. They frown on other oils whether good or bad. I realize some of those people have had wonderful results from their oil and will never use anything else. I think that is great and am thrilled the oil has, for some changed their health. There is no argument over that.

One thing to remember is not everyone is a one brand essential oil user. I have had great results from a variety of brands of oils. I definitely know which companies I would never buy from again. I had a lavender that smelled like gasoline. One tea tree brand I used in my wash, smelled so bad my husband asked what was stinking up our laundry. The label that reads the oil is pure is not always the whole truth. So how do you pick and choose your oils? Trial and error work best.

You have to try different oils and brands to find the one you like and works best for you. I have used some fairly inexpensive oils that have worked well for me. For my grandsons I use the good stuff. I guess I feel if a company states their oils are pure enough to ingest I steer in that direction.

A new to me oil company is one called Selah oils. I personally love this faith based company. Their disclaimer reads: "While we believe essential oils are helpful, we do not believe they are the only medicine. Essential oils are simply a tool in the toolbox of optimal health. For example essential oils are no replacement for diet change, exercise and good choices. There is absolutely no way that an essential oil can do ANY spiritual thing for you. Jesus is the ONLY spirit healer."

To this I say Amen. I have been pleased with the result of each Selah oil I have used. My husband didn't know lavender could smell so good. We have quite a few of these oils, sprays and roll-ons on hand in our store. Look them up at selahessentialoils.com
