Essential Oils that Worked

I cannot believe it has been a month since I have sent an email or blog.

Time goes fast when things are going good, but when calamity hits minutes fly by most of the time. My mother has had some health issues, so I have been driving to Iowa now and then to get things taken care of.

The times I have gone have been quick pack and go. I didn't have time to think about which essential oils to bring. I should have had Stress Away but I didn't have that one on hand. All I took was Grounding, Envison and Lemon.

I was able to get through things that normally I would have fretted quite a bit.

Grounding has a blend of white fir, pine, angelica, spruce, cedarwood, juniper and ylang ylang. It's described as a balancing blend used for clarity to enhance positive emotions. I know my prayers were definitely increased during this time of trial.

Envision has a blend of spruce, orange, sage, geranium, lavender and rose. It is described to stimulate creativity and resourcefulness, encouraging renewed faith in the future and the emotional strength necessary to achieve your dreams. Here again it strengthened me to make decisions regarding my mother's health.

Lemon was my help not to get the cough and colds that some had around me. I took it internally and I did not get sniffles, cough or anything.

What I have learned through this is whatever oil I have on hand is better than none at all. These wouldn't have been my first choice to take at a time like this.

This has confirmed my love of oils and the help that got me through a trying week.
