If you have ever used essential oils, you know the difficulty in knowing which oil to use.
The best investment I have made is the "Young Living Reference Guide for Using Essential Oils." I'm sure there may be other reference guides for essential oils that may work for you. You can check them out online. Be sure and look when the book was released, because they are always updating them. Young Living has just released their newest version.
For skincare there are many different oils to use depending on what the ailment is.
For aging you can use Thyme, Frankincense or Carrot
Acne: Tea Tree, German Chamomile or Lavender
Scars: Lavender, Helichrysum or Frankincense
There are many more oils to use for these three skin conditions. The way to use the oils will be in the reference guide.
Some of the different ways to use oils are:
Aromatic means that the oils are inhaled through the mouth and nose.
Topical means that the oils are applied directly to the skin, hair or other surface of the body.
Internal means that the oils are taken orally as a dietary supplement. (Not all oils can be ingested, so read the labels.)
